Just for You – Handmade Card Featuring Conie Fong Art

Today I’m sharing a cheerful handmade card I created using
the adorable Pepper with Flowers digital stamp from Conie Fong Art & Design.

This sweet little turtle is carrying a colorful bouquet of flowers,
making it the perfect image for sending smiles and warm wishes.

I colored the turtle and flowers using Prisamcolor pencils,
blending rich shades of green, brown, and
pops of bright floral tones to bring the image to life.
To frame the design,
I used a bold postage-edge die cut in deep green cardstock,
which really makes the artwork stand out.
A scattering of sparkling sequins adds just the right amount of shine and dimension.
For the sentiment, I chose a large script die cut reading “Just for You”, layered
in coordinating green to tie the whole card together.
It’s a simple but striking way to let someone know you’re thinking of them.
This card would be wonderful for birthdays, thank you notes, or
just sending a little happiness to brighten someone’s day.

Supplies Used:

  • Digital stamp: Conie Fong Art & Design

  • Prismacolor Pencils

  • Lessebo Hunter's Green Card Stock from CutCardStock

  • Postage-edge frame die from scrapbook.com

  • Sentiment die: Just for You from Crafter's Companion

  • Sequins for embellishment from Pajama Crafters Stamps

If you’d like to see more of Conie Fong’s beautiful images, be sure to visit the

Thanks for stopping by and I hope this happy little turtle brings you a smile today!

The top of the card is a border die cut.
The sentiment was die cut.
I fussy cut Leilani and popped her onto layered and die cut circles.

blue, red and a little green for their outfits.
All done with Prismacolor pencils.

My card background is blue with an acetate overlay of snowflakes.
The panel the image is printed in was trimmed down and
matted with red card stock. I punched white borders.

With Love from Susie Sunshine

Hello there!
Popping in today to share some inspiration for

 My card was created with
I colored this sweet digi with Prismacolor Pencils.
Before popping onto my card base I fussy cut.

I had the bulk of my card base in my stash from
a previous project I was working on and scrapped!
Die cutting was done on lavender metallic card stock and
a flap was created.
To complete this base, I added white card stock behind the flap and
added a border from a pattern paper in my stash.
I had a piece of ribbon that was just long enough to add with a bow.
The sentiment was die cut and I added some sequins to complete.

Thanks so much for taking a look at this project!
I hope you have a great day!

You Make my Heart Bloom

 Happy Friday!
I love to color! How about you?
And some of my favorite images are from

I had printed and colored this one, Leilani,
a little while back and lost track of it until a few days ago.
Came across it while looking for something else.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that does this?

So, I thought I would put her on a card, which is super simple.
I had printed the image a little larger than I normally would.
Colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
No fussy cutting done, which is out of the ordinary for me!
A sentiment was stamped. I added some sequins and double matted.
Not a lot needed as the image is so pretty!

Thanks for taking a look.
I hope you have a great weekend!

Baby Seal Valentine

Hello there!
Hope your Saturday is going well!
It's cold and snowy here in Colorado today.
So, a good day for crafting!

I put together this card using

These cuties were colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
I fussy cut the image.
My card measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches and was
created with a piece of medium blue card stock.
I die cut some clouds out of the same blue as the card base and white for
the top of the card.
A darker blue card stock covers the rest of the card.
I smudged a little white ink over the blue.
Added foam tape to the back of my image and adhered.
Decided to die cut some double hearts and "Valentine" out of white card.
3 pear;s were added for just a little extra!

Not your regular red or pink Valentine card, but I like the way it came out!
Hope you do too!

Molly's Joy

Hi there!
I started coloring up this little cutie a few days ago and
didn't get around to finishing her until last night.
This morning I got to thinking and remembered I had a snow globe die.
I thought she would look super cute on a snow globe shaped card.
I stamped some trees on the background,
did a little inking, added some snow banks and
splattered a little white paint for a snow effect.

I love the way this little card came out.

This is Molly's Joy from
The digi was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.
Glitter glue was added to the "JOY" banner Molly is holding.
I die cut the "Merry Christmas" sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
I so appreciate you all!
